?Providehighqualitymedicalandsurgicalcaretosurgicalin-andout-patients.
?PerformindependentsurgeryonprivilegedcasesinconsultationwiththeCMOandtheChiefofGS.
?WorkcloselywiththeChiefofGSinsupportingdepartmentalgoals.
?Performdailypatientroundsforhis/herownpatientsand/orotherpatientsbelongstothesurgicalserviceaccordingtothescheduleproposedbytheChiefofGS.Reviewsubjectiveandobjectivefindingsincludinglabs,diagnostictesting,vitalsigns,woundstatus,anddrains.
?Providespatienteducationrelatedtoprocedures,medications,therapeuticgoals,etc.
?Meetstandardsofprofessionalconductandcourtesy.
?Appropriatecode,documentandsubmitchargesinatimelymanner,establishandmaintainrecords,reportsandstatisticaldata.
?Equallysharecall/coveragedutieswithsurgicalcolleaguestoinsureJIHhas24hours’surgicalcoverage.
?Collaboratewithotherconsultantsintheestablishmentofdiagnosesandtreatmentsoftherapiesanddischargeneedsbothintheinpatientandoutpatientsetting,Assistotherconsultantsonsurgicalcaseswhennecessary.
?Workatmaintainingagoodandacooperativeworkingrelationshipwithphysicians,departmentsandtheotherhospitalstaff.
?WorkonqualityimprovementactivitieswithinthedepartmentincollaborationwithothersurgicalteammembersandCMO.
?Provideadministrativesupportandcommitteeassignmentsasrequested.
?Participateinfellowtrainingwhenrequested.
?AttendMAO-physicianmeeting,departmentalmeeting,grandround,committeemeetingsandCEOmeetingwhenaskedfor.
?Beresponsibleforownworkinghoursandarrangementoftheannualleave.
?Dailyinpatientwardroundforhis/herownpatients.
?MeetStandardsofprofessionalconductandcourtesy.
?Appropriatecode,documentandsubmitchargesinatimelymanner.

?CompleteddegreefromandaccreditedChineseorinternationalmedicaluniversity.
